I'm pretty sure there is a topic for this already. But this isn't much about whats in the kits. It's more about who makes them. Personally I don't want a non-vip or non-admin member to say a word about whats in kits. The only ones who should be able to say whats not or what is in kits are Kitook and I. Of course this only applies for VIP kits but only those who are VIP should be able to decide whats in them since we are the only ones that are going to use them. K thnx BAI.

No. If I let VIPs decide then youll want a billion diamond blocks and everything you want. Its biased and it wont happen. Input from everyone makes it fair.

Wow thats just dumb. I wouldn't ask for something like that. We should make up the Kits and YOU approve them, and of course the kits would be within fair lines.

It is true that Lethal gets the final say, but as basic statistics tells us, the more data you have gathered to base your decision on, the more accurate your results. In this case, the more suggestions Lethal has to look at, the better (ie: fair, balanced, and not to mention creative) kits will be. If only 2 people are allowed input, you have a very narrow list of possibilities to choose from. As with the Lean Training I have been taking, the most valuable input is from someone outside who does not know the process and has nothing connecting them to it, that way they give unbiased input and cause those too familiar with something to look at it differently.

So nothing against the 2 people who are VIPs, but I too think that everyone should give their ideas, and even go and look at what other servers give out as kits and get ideas from there as well.

I have already given my input on the first thread we had regarding what should be in the kits. Although one other thing that I thought of (actually saw on another server) is to have VIPs have reserved log-in spots. This way if the server ever gets to the point where it is very busy and we are always reaching the limit of players, VIPs will always be able to get on. This to me would be a very big incentive to become a VIP.

That is just my opinion.

Well first off the kits were fine as they were before. Nothing personal but i highly dislike how they are now.
I just think that the people who don't donate should decide because they make up some crappy bs that is too much or too little. Really the only problem with the kits was item stacking. the solution is simple, Just give the materials needed to make those items in the kit. Winning.

I agree that the kits were fine before as well. The item stacking was a bit broken I suppose, but was a nice perk. The only kit that sucked IMO was the gold kit, as Gold items blow and are useless. Perhaps if it was substituted with a suit of Gold armor it would be OK. Gold Armor sucks too, but looks really bad ass (Yo, Biatch I gots me some Gold Armor!).

I think that purpose of this is to poll the whole server community to see if there are any better ideas out there. I am sure if Lethal wanted to he would have just kept the same old kits, but instead he is giving the players a chance to actually have some input, which is a really great thing to do.

Unfortunately only a small number of players actually come to this forum, and an even smaller few have actually suggested anything (you, me and Snowbear to be precise). There are never any bad ideas, and no matter what people suggest Lethal can build off of it and come up with some good, interesting (and yes, balanced) kits.

Well The kits that are non-VIP can be more community made kits. But the VIP kits again should be basically the same as they once were back in the old world and should be mostly thought up by the VIPs. But for the gold kit I would think a gold block and gold items would be enough. Yes gold items aren't the best but they are when stacked. Its like super tools ;D
