How many of you would like a reset map? Why/why not?

Here are the pros and cons I can see:

Pros: <Looks better from an administration angle, I must say >
Much better building
More organization
More commands
Starting Fresh

Cons:
We would *probably* lose all our creations. I understand this may be too much to lose to some people. That is why I am only resetting upon a 80%+. However, I can look into saving the more large-scale creations, such as Kitooks castle and fuzzys museum.

OK since you have been asked, I would like to ask why?
What would be the benefits or resetting?

I can see both sides. Starting fresh is exciting and fun. On the other hand though a lot of people have put a lot of time and effort into building things they are kinda proud of. It woul dbe a shame to lose all that.

There is plenty of room in the current map. It's just a matter of getting around it. Maybe some kind of portal mod where each "city" or built up area can have a teleport circle/station to make it easier. Mine carts are fun but not when you are sitting there travelling for 10 minutes. *lol*

I know I no longer play on the server but I have to agree with snowbear. Warps or obsidian portal mods would really help out with expanding to different places. Restarting is just too much to ask for.

They have a point with the obsidian warp thing but,

I would like to start fresh, as all the good spots are either taken, or way out in the ocean.

Like I said in the game chat, if the current world could be archived and not editable, accessed via portal or something, that would be cool.

Another option mentioned was a downloadable copy of the current world. That would work for me as well.

Then I would be all for a reset.

My current vote is a No I think, but I would change it to Yes if given one of those options.
