Definition on greifing
Alright, I have a question regarding griefing.
To me the term would mean, any action that causes another player grief.
So assuming that is correct, am I safe to assume that with the addition of Wolves in Beta 1.4, that killing someones tamed wolf could then fall under the term griefing?
In the short time that the server has been upgraded to 1.4, I have already heard multiple complaints of players wolves being killed. Not only that, I myself had my tamed wolves (that were in my house, which also has an Iron door [see above rule regarding Iron doors]) killed. That action caused me grief, as I spent a good hour today looking for those wolves to tame.
So I feel that IF it is deemed that such an action falls under the term griefing, then we should make that clear, and afterward any such action could be dealt with appropriately.
Thank you.

OHHH i killed your wolves. I've killed darkveo's wolves. I've killed Hpaulson's wolves. Wolves are a problem and not yet approved. Sorry Dan but im working to get them removed and until lethal says that Wolves are 100% allowed then I will kill every wolf in sight. Dan I will soon post a HUGE explanation to why so yea. Again sorry about the wolves but don't forget, they died by my sword.

Re: Rules to LethalState SMP
OK thanks for your honesty Soap.
Now I can understand that they may or may not be approved yet (although Lethal did update the server and include them), but why your insistence on killing them? The only problem I see with them is that is you accidentally hit someone's wolf it will attack you. This is not a problem with wolves that are, say, in someones house. Do you have a different reason why wolves are so bad?
And if they are that bad for the game, then we should quickly either post a rule that states that no one can have wolves or even better, just remove them from the game altogether, but lets do it quickly. I'd like to hear why you have a hate-on against wolves.
- EDIT -
OK I have read your other post regarding the cons of wolves.
I will comment there....
